kids lunch ideas - planet box

I have a pretty picky eater on my hands. The secret to getting him to eat a variety of foods is 1. not asking what he wants for lunch and just making it and putting it in front of him (learned that one over time). 2. A lunch box or plate with compartments that force me to be creative. This one (which we love) is from Planet Box - the rover. I swear this lunch box makes me a better mom haha because I don't get lazy with meal times. Here's a few simple meal ideas for toddlers. Don't be afraid to get on amazon and buy some cookie, fruit and sandwich cutters. They make meal time more exciting and may even make your toddler try something that they wouldn't before :)

main course ideas (don't be afraid to whip out the cookie or sandwich cutters):
sandwiches
grilled cheese
mac and cheese (for a healthy option we use veggie noodles, cheese plain greek yogurt to add some cream)
quesadillas
casseroles
pasta salad
buttered noodles with parmesan (tip: use orange veggie pasta that's filled with nutrients, toddler won't know the difference)

our favorite fillers:
bananas
berries
peas
watermelon
avocado
cottage cheese
boiled eggs
broccoli
celery sticks (cheese or peanut butter filler)
crackers or goldfish
ham slices
yogurt (Fin prefers frozen Gogurt)
almonds/peanuts

What is your toddler's favorite meals?
